Manchester United face Crystal Palace in the Emirates FA Cup final on Saturday. It’s the last chance for Louis Van Gaal’s side to make something out of this season of disappointments.
United haven’t won the FA Cup in 12 years, which can make the upcoming match really special for the club and fans around the world.
Van Gaal in his pre-match conference for Saturday’s was quoted saying, “I have read that the last FA Cup win was in 2004, so it’s a long time ago. For Manchester United it is a big title, especially now as it was a long time ago.”

Goalkeeper: David De Gea
Being the best player in the team for three years, there’s no doubt in anyone replacing him in the starting XI.
Defenders: Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, Dailey Blind, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson
The defensive line-up will hopefully remain the same as of the team news now.
Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia were just too good against Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson started the game after a long time on Tuesday and did well. Probably making him the best option available for left-back.
Midfielders: Marouane Fellaini, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial
Marouane Fellaini will most probably see himself back in the starting XI after serving a three-match suspension. His form has been a lot more improved than it has been since he arrived at the club.
Juan Mata is expected to retain his position despite the not-so-impressive display against The Cherries on Tuesday night.
Forward: Marcus Rashford
The youngster managed to get a goal after a while, scoring with a fine finish against Bournemouth. He has still been irreplaceable in the team since his debut against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
