Steve McManaman backs Cristiano Ronaldo to call it quits at Manchester United in 2023.

Ex-Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly on the verge of signing for PSG. According to report from Mundo Deportivo, the Portuguese ace is looking to renew his contract at Real Madrid but if an agreement cannot be reached then he will move to Paris instead of returning to Manchester.

Not to sound like sour grapes, but maybe that is a good thing. The player is already 31 years old has his best years behind him and at this stage players do not really fare well at Old Trafford as seen with Bastian Schweinsteiger. Many expected him to return to Old Trafford but as per the reports from the Spanish media the player’s agent has opened a discussion with Madrid management. If an agreement is reached, then Ronaldo will stay back otherwise the three times Ballon d’Or winner could be in his last season at Madrid.

PSG is set to lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani in the summer and is looking at Ronaldo to win Champions League.
