Ever since Jose Mourinho has been linked with Manchester United so has been Mauro Icardi of Inter Milan. The Inter’s current captain and striker has been a point of speculation given his impressive form and the need of striking power at Old Trafford.
All these days amidst the speculation the player has maintained that he is happy at San Siro and wants to remain there. However, now he has revealed his desire to play Champions League football and sounds like he is ready to leave if the right offer rolls in.
The player joined Inter in 2013 and has scored 15 goals this season in 30 games. He wants to win the Champions League with Inter Milan but if Inter does not qualify for the Champions League and good offer comes from a club participating in Europe’s most coveted trophy, he will definitely consider the offer. I guess anyone would. The only question remains is that while we know United are interested in Icardi, will they make it to Champions League next year?
