Manchester United face Crystal Palace in their 34th Premier League game after two successive wins. Crystal Palace has managed to save themselves from the relegation seat for now this season but overall, their form has been ridiculous and can expect a beating from the Red Devils away from home.

Van Gaal’s side will be immensely looking forward to the game and get the job done by grabbing the much needed three points to end up at the fourth position in the upcoming five games which are remaining.

Manchester United won their last match against Aston Villa but failed to put a great display as the Villans just suffered a 1-0 loss despite of an awful display at Old Trafford on the weekend.

A win over the Glaziers is very important for United as it will keep them going strong for the rest of the matches left in this season.

Team News:

Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger remain unavailable as they’re still recovering.

Ander Herrera is set to return to the squad.

Adnan Januzaj still remains injured.

Facts:

Manchester United have never lost to Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League.

Crystal Palace have not won any of their last eight away Premier League matches.

Red Devils have won their last eight home games against the Eagles.

Juan Mata has scored in two of his last three League matches against the Glaziers. The Spaniard scored one in this same fixture last year.

Key Players:

Marcus Rashford

Rashford has become a star ever since his debut against Midtjylland. The young striker has scored 7 goals in 12 games off his only 10 attempted shots on goal. He has scored in the previous two games and will be looking to carry on that form against a much weaker, Crystal Palace.

Emmanuel Adebayor:

Despite being unsuccessful at any club he played for, Adebayor’s strength and skill on attack has never been underestimated. The Togolese footballer has scored three goals against Manchester United and all of them were netted at Old Trafford. A threatening display can be expected from the ex-Man City player in the upcoming match.
