Manchester United have entered the race to sign Ousmane Dembele from Rennes. The youngster is rated as one of the best player in Europe and several clubs have shown interest in him.
As per reports from Daily Mail, FC Barcelona already tried to sign him earlier but their £27 million bid was rejected by the club. Rennes’ valuation of the player is around £30 million and are not willing to go below the price for the player’s transfer.
United is reported to have scouted the 18-year-old youngster for several months and are said to be keen to strike a deal for the player. Even at a tender age the player has 9 goals to his name this season and the scouts reports too highlight Dembele’s abilities.
The amount asked by Rennes is not high and given the capability he is showing it seems like a bargain. The Red Devils have been focusing on youngsters to build a team for the future as their current team seems to be struggling on all fronts.
