Manchester United Transfer News

Manchester United has struggled since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson and inspite of spending upward of 250 million pounds the squad still looks half baked. Now TalkSport has listed the potential six players who could leave Old Trafford in the summer as the Red Devils start to rebuild the team again.

Carrick
  1. Marouane Fellaini: The big Belgian has failed to live up to the expectation of Old Trafford crowd and has turned into a bit part player for the team. His contribution was significant but has again faded into oblivion this season.
  2. Phil Jones: The defender showed promise as a teenager and was pipped to be the next top defender for England and the club. However having spent too much time in the treatment room is neither benefiting him or the club.
  3. Marcos Rojo: The Argentine has not been up to the mark at Old Trafford. He has failed to indicate if he is a left back or a center back. Lacking solid defensive skill and attacking skills on the wings makes him an easy expendable.
  4. Michael Carrick: At 34, Carrick is still a fantastic player but his energy seems to be draining out and with his contract over in the summer the club may bid adieu to him
  5. Antonio Valencia: The player has done decently well till his injury but at 31 years of age he does not have a lot of room left for growth. Varela’s emergence on the other hand probably makes logical sense to say goodbye to the Ecuadorian.
  6. Ashley Young: He was destined to move out when Di Maria had arrived but rather made his presence felt through some solid performance. Now injured most of the time, the player is 30-year-old and more exciting wingers like Varela, Lingard will be taking over the team.
