Southampton’s Sadio Mane’s future seem to be heading to Manchester in the summer. United has been interested in the star for quite some time now and also tried to sign him last summer but Southampton did not agree for the deal. Now it is reported in The Sun that the Old Trafford outfit will try to sign the player again in the summer but they are likely to face competition from Manchester City.
City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain has asked the scouts to keep him informed about the forward’s future. Begiristain has worked with their incoming manager Pep Guardiola earlier and the Spaniard is interested in Mane.
Sadio mane, 23-year-old, has impressed for the last two season with display of his strength, speed and skills. Earlier in the summer when Louis Van Gaal was looking for a pacey winger Mane was constantly the point of interest at Old Trafford.
