Odin Ighalo has scored 14 goals in 24 appearances so far this season. The Watford striker has clearly impressed than any other United player and this has made United turn their attention to Ighalo.
Apparently United wanted to sign him on transfer deadline day in the January window but no deal was done. This has not deterred Manchester United and they will be bidding for the player in the summer again as reported by The Sun. The news also reports that United are in a leading position to sign the £40 million rated striker. The player had an offer for £300,000 a week salary in China but rejected it. Now similar deal may be available for him in England itself.
Manchester United has struggled in front of the goal this season with Rooney out of form for majority of the season and it has caused Louis Van Gaal immense pressure from the club and the fans. The Dutchman will look to avoid it again next season if he is still in charge.
