After a comparatively quiet January transfer window at Manchester United, now El Confidencial has made a bold claim and dropped a bombshell on Manchester as a town. The Spanish newspaper claims that they are 100% confident that Jose Mourinho will be the next Manchester United manager in the summer. Their sources in Portugal apparently has extracted the news that Jorge Mendes has brokered a deal and managed to pull it off. It appears the only question that remains is, whether he will take up the job sooner or in summer.
With Manchester City signing Pep Guardiola the timing could not be more apt. The Spaniard is reported to want to avoid Mourinho socially. As per the report, Pep Guardiola does not want to deal with Jose Mourinho on a regular basis. Though it all seems very plausible we will have to wait and see what actually happens but getting Jose Mourinho is probably one of the best way to distract Pep Guardiola.
