Manchester United has not made any signings this transfer window yet and allowed two players to move out of the club. However as per the Metro news, the Red Devils are set to be quite busy on the last day of the transfer.
The target? Odion Ighalo of Watford. According the reports, United has approached Watford to sign the Nigerian. The player has been in a very good form recently scoring 14 goals in 23 league games this season. Watford will not be willing to let go of the striker easily after such exploits, is our understanding.
While Watford are desperate to keep hold of their in-form striker, a big money move could swing the mood of the club and the management. Manchester United are certainly capable of such. Though they have been quiet so far, now with FA Cup win and LVG’s lifeline restored, United could be set for some last minute shopping. If not Ighalo, it could be some other strikers on loan.
