David De Gea- 5
Had absolutely nothing to do. Left with no chance with the goals. Although, probably thought he could’ve done better with the 1st goal as it was hit straight at him.
Ashley Young- 6
Dealt with Robbie Brady pretty easily. Did well going forward and put in one-two really good balls. Made a very weak challenge in the build-up to the second goal.
Chris Smalling- 5.5
Didn’t have much to do but could’ve done better while defending the 1st goal. Definitely not tight enough.
Phil Jones- 4
Absolutely weak and atrocious defending leading to the first goal. Was below average throughout the game. Even his passing was mediocre.
Daley Blind- 5
Did well on the attacking front. However, his delivery was very poor. United got 10 corners and he couldn’t deliver one proper cross.
Michael Carrick- 5
He moved the ball around well as usual but hardly provided a cover for the defence.
Marouane Fellaini- 4.5
Provided no defensive cover whatsoever. Redmond roamed around freely for the first goal where Fellaini should have been to intercept him.
Anthony Martial- 6
One of the few players who actually looked like he wanted to win the game. Was threatening with his pace and dribbling skill. Thumped the ball into the net after some good footwork. Worked hard throughout the game.
Juan Mata- 3.5
Another absolutely horrendous performance from Juan Mata. He might as well have not been on the pitch. The time he did get into better positions, he was unable to pick out a pass.
Memphis Depay- 5
Memphis was one of the better players on the pitch. Looked lively on the left and looked to combine with Rooney often making runs into the middle.
Wayne Rooney- 4.5
Didn’t have much of an impact at all. Even in the build up to Martial’s goal, it should have already been put into the back of the net by Wayne. Seems to have forgotten how to play.

Didn’t make an impact at all although he did give more than Fellaini.
